Assam University Examination declaration : two separate sets of modalities released by AUS

2020 has been an awful year in terms of health, economic status and academics. The world pandemic due to Covid-19 has not only affected the academia but has also disordered the educational scenario in a huge graph.

Meanwhile, Assam University has freshly issued its examination declaration module on 15th September, 2020. The modalities published in regulation to the examination is divided into two separate parts for two separate group of students – the students studying inside the AUS campus and the students studying in the affiliated colleges under the University.

There was no online examination allotted for the students of the affiliated colleges beforehand, unlike that for the students of the AUS campus. After a strong protest by the students due to the former decision, an alteration was made and both the modes, online and offline, got provided to all the students.

Though an option of online or offline examination got provided, there is a visible contradistinction between the two sets of modalities provided by the university which has created quite a lot of ruckus among the students. It is very obvious that the fear of getting infected is prevalent inside the heads  of the students, on top of that, discrimination with contrasting factors is a very challenging situation for the academic candidates.

Amidst this scary situation of fatal upsurge, commencement of examination in a safer way is the primary responsibility of both the institution and the students. This year has already been a downfall regarding the academic seriousness, and prosperity of the near future is the ultimate hope of everyone.
