She is leading the fight against the coronavirus pandemic and said, “I just could not think of taking leave for my wedding. I understand it is the most important event of anyone’s life, but I could not imagine going away from my district where the average positive cases is about hundred and I am fighting to save lives.”
The groom, Aditya Shashikant flew in for the ceremony from Pune well in advance so that he could remain in mandatory Quarantine following the local covid-19 protocols. On 9th September, Wednesday they tied the knot in a very simple manner in which a few colleagues and friends from her district Cachar and Hilakandi were invited following the existing protocols and about 800 family members and friends watched them through the zoom video app from different parts of the country as well as abroad and dressed up like they were at the venue just to cheer up the couple. Her parents could not come from Hyderabad to attend her wedding but her younger sister was on her side at the wedding.
Jalli attended office, a day before and a day after her wedding and decided to visit Silchar Medical College Hospital amid the spike in covid cases to take stock of the hospital infrastructure.
Jalli is known for her commendable work related to health care, women welfare and bringing harmony between communities. She was also honoured by the then president Pranab Mukherjee in 2016 for the innovative scheme ‘BHONI’ to enhance women participation in election, when she was posted as the Sub Divisional Officer at Titabor in Jorhat.

Chennai Super King gotten into the act of photoshoot in which MS Dhoni and other players strictly adhere to all the social distancing norms. A total of 13 personnel from the CSK camp has tested positive for covid-19 two weeks back.
The CSK players had to face criticism for violating the social distancing norms when they wear on the plane to Chennai where they removed their masks while taking a selfie and broke the social distancing norms.
Despite being the last team to kick off the preparations for IPL 2020, CSK will be in action on the very first day of the tournament against the Mumbai Indians on September 19.
