Python rescued in Hailakandi district.

A 10-feet long python was rescued from Jamira Baktal area of Gharmura in Hailakandi district on Friday.
It has been noticed by the locals that since a long time the farmers of the region were losing their poultry and could not guess the exact reason behind the happenings.
But on Thursday the villagers spotted a python slithering through thorny bushes.
Without delaying much the locals called up Gharmura Forest Range Office and informed about the python. After receiving the news, Bakmatal area Ranger J. Kamai rescued the snake and took it to the Gharmura Forest Office.
Later on Friday the 10 foot long python snake was released in the dense forest of Jakepur area by Ranger J. Kamai as the forest officials are responsible for the maintenance of the wildlife.
